The G519 military bicycle was the standard means of non-motorized transportation for the United States military during the Second World War. First introduced in 1939, the G519 was specifically manufactured for the armed forces by two well-known and popular commercial manufacturers. By 1942, the G519 bicycle became standard for all branches of the military in all theatres of the war, and remained in service well into the 1950s. The BwG519 is painstakingly reproduced down to the smallest detail, faithfully recreating virtually every nuance of the classic bike. The Bergerwerke BwG519 is simply the most accurate reproduction of this famous bike available today!
